At no direct cost to you, Elite-VB will work with you to determine which flexible enrollment options best suit your business needs while also providing the ideal enrollment experience for you and your employees.

This is especially important as individuals and companies are practicing social distancing. Technology is a tool, not a replacement of PEOPLE, but we know how to implement and service Covid-19 compliant enrollments through our USE of technology.

Our target goal is to provide education, enrollment, administration, integration – we can do it all at Elite-VB. With various carrier partners, we can either provide technology solution with Elite-VB’s Ease Central Enterprise license or by utilizing one of our technology partners (VB@Work has access to Selerix and Navigator). Our goal is to ensure that your business is realizing solutions that are streamlined, easy and secure. Elite-VB has solutions to provide consistent communication and enrollment:

1-TO-1 CALL CENTER ENROLLMENTS

Employees speak with a benefits counselor over the phone, so we can walk them through their benefit options and the enrollment process. Call Center is so important in Alaska as there are many locations in our State that does not have good bandwidth and employees need an option to sign up for coverage with juts their phone. Effective for all!

1-TO-1 CO-BROWSING ENROLLMENTS:

Conducted over the phone and web with a benefits counselor, this option helps employees understand their benefit options and enroll in their choices. Co-browsing is the “virtual” way of enrolling and our agency has been utilizing co-browsing for years (joinme, go-to-meeting and more). Pairs great with my video

WEB-BASED / MOBILE APP SELF-ENROLLMENTS:

Employees can enroll via the web with Ease (preferred platform) or Navigator or Selerix with communications that clearly outline each step. If employers go the “self-enroll” route, it’s always recommended to be paired with strong pre-enrollment communication (Ideally my six minute benefit video) and mandatory for employees to go in an elect coverage or not. Employees can also enroll on their phone

NON-PAYROLL DEDUCTION:

Some employers don’t have a payroll slot for deductions from the employee’s paychecks, so depending on the industry, we may be able to take the premiums directly from their bank account/credit card. Lots of carriers provide great “non-payroll” options, so if you are adamant about NOT wanting to do the deduction, let’s chat – your employees deserve the coverage they need to protect themselves and family.

PRODUCT HOSTING ON YOUR HRIS PLATFORM

Some carriers can have their voluntary benefits built into your current HRIS platform, so there is no need for an external enrollment platform. Obviously this is ideal and we work with many carriers that have this option so there is no need for deduction report – the enrollment process is integrated with your benefit platform and program.

VIRTUAL SIMPLE ENROLLMENT
SOLUTION: SPREADSHEET

Oftentimes companies have voluntary benefits in place and wish to replace with another carrier. This can be done easily with some carriers, so easy in fact that the current benefits in place are inputted into a spreadsheet and then imported into an Ease platform (for virtual enrollment) or simply inputted into the carrier platform and similar plans are replaced without the need for a signature. Then employees can go in and view their new benefits, sign up for new or additional coverage. Simple and easy

SOLUTION: PAPER

Running a business isn’t easy, but there are smart solutions to every challenge. If you’re a smaller employer, enrollments are executed in a way that works for YOUR STAFF. In a world where technology rules, sometimes good old fashioned PAPER is the way to go. A few voluntary benefit carriers (such as Transamerica) has pre-filled paper applications that can be very easy to distributed, employees view my outstanding video, elect the coverage they desire and the forms are processed and policies issued. Paper CAN be ideal when there is low bandwidth in Alaska or phone/internet is spotty. It’s about being flexible in creating the right solutions for YOUR organization

AFTER THE
ENROLLMENT

The life-cycle of an account is Elite-VB’s focus and we’re talking 3-5 years out. After the enrollment is complete, we want to ensure:

  • Deduction Information -perfect to the penny: Get updated employee elections and their post and pre-tax premiums per paycheck
  • Elections Data: Receive a summary of your employee’s enrollment elections (voluntary and/or mini-med)
  • Employee Feedback: Use our survey to gauge your employee’s satisfaction with our communications and enrollment process
  • Online Administrative Functions: View, reconcile and pay your voluntary invoice online
